Just One Black Pearl
The Single Tahitian Black pearl necklace features a gorgeous large Tahitian black pearl from an amazing cultured pearl farm in French Polynesia. This is the same farm we will be visiting on our next trip!
The Origin
Picture the gorgeous clear waters of French Polynesia, home of the Tahitian black pearl. On the remote island atoll of Ahe, a quaint family pearl farm produces a modest amount of black pearls each year. They are varied in shapes sizes and even color but they are each rich in their beauty and uniqueness. These are the pearls that India selects for the Tahitian Black Pearl collection, the the gorgeous pearls in this necklace. They are the pearls that radiate with the sun, wind and beauty of island life. They speak of spectacular riches and nature’s incomparable gifts.
Relax and Receive
My first trip to this pearl farm was amazing. I felt so present, so available and more relaxed than I have been in years. I love pearls, the beauty, the history and the meaning. And Tahitian pearls take pearls to a new level for me. They are so simple and beautiful and they represent a taste of life that some of us simply forget about.
What is this life? A life of beauty and appreciation, a life slowed down and savored. I was so impressed and in awe of the founder of this remote pearl farm. He is committed to culturing gorgeous pearls and he is committed to preserving (and promoting!) French Polynesia’s natural resources.
Beauty
But, what we care about most (truthfully!) is the beauty in these pearls… and they are gorgeous. These large pearls (averaging 9-10mm in diameter) are slightly baroque. They are full of the sunshine they were born in. And they continue to radiate that essence of sun and surf. What a gem to have on your neckline. Enjoy the beauty of these gorgeous and rare finds!
Made in the U.S.A. (of course). We place on black pearl on a necklace for you. An 8-9mm pearl on a sterling silver chain. I can also make them in leather or 14K gold. Let us know in your order notes!
UPDATE: I am heading back to French Polynesia for more pearls! Pre-order and save!
