I have always found January to be a busy month here at The Pearl Girls and I have my theories why…. January is for women. Starting in November (and maybe even before!) most women put a lot of heart and hard work into preparing for the holidays. We have gifts to buy, meals to cook, trips to plan and family members to satisfy. Unfortunately, for many of us, the holidays are spelled S-T-R-E-S-S. On top of it all, although most of us probably only admit this to our very best girlfriends… we don’t usually get what we want. I remember very clearly the year that my mom got pantyhose for Christmas… control top pantyhose! Now, yes, it is all about the spirit of giving but there is nothing wrong with appreciating a bit of the getting either! Right?
