I must admit that I do not know much about Julia Child but what I do know, I admire. It has nothing to do with her savviness in the kitchen and her bestselling cookbook and amazing on-air personality, which are quite impressive. I love the fact that Julia was adventurous and athletic. A childhood friend called her “really, really wild.” I love that she was once fired for “gross insubordination.” She was forthright, outspoken and she was such an individual that she was NOT loved by all. Yet she still did amazing things and had an amazing career.
