Sometimes when you start something…you just don’t realize how amazing it will be! We started our monthly fundraisers by the specific request of a Pearl Girl who befriended us after she read about us in Southern Living. She wanted to raise funds for her organization and she wanted our help. So, we were happy to set up an online fundraiser. After cutting her a $1000 check we thought, this is so much fun..let’s keep doing it!
Last month we got together with a dynamic group of women in Nashville who are trying to raise $100,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Even they agree that it is a lofty goal and one that scares them sometimes. Isn’t that what life is about? Dream so big that it scares you! We are so excited to extend our monthly fundraiser with these ladies one more month in hopes that we Pearl Girls can do as much as we can to help them get where they want to go.
Here is the low down (in case you missed it last month):
We are supporting Sarina Walker, Nashville’s Woman of the Year candidate in her pledge to raise $100,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
So, how does this work? Find something gorgeous for yourself at www.ThePearlGirls.com. When you check out, make sure you click YES to the question, “Would you like 25% of your purchase price to be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society?”
We will make sure she will get the money to put towards her efforts and, unless you tell us otherwise, we will tell her that you donated to her efforts!
Thanks so much Pearl Girls!
