This October we will be raising money for MS! A dear friend of ours, Kafi Sanders, is participating in the Bike MS Ride in New York City on October 21st and we have partnered with her to boost her fundraising efforts and to do our part for MS.
Kafi started participating in the Bike MS Ride because her friend from high school, Dianna, is living with Multiple Sclerosis. Kafi also discovered that MS was a woman’s disease; it is 2-3 times more common in women than men. Here is a link to Kafi’s personal donation page, so you can learn more about why she does the Bike MS Ride.
Approximately 250,000 to 350,000 people in the United States have been diagnosed with MS, and approximately 200 new cases are diagnosed each week. MS is a disease that affects many people, and it can cost a lot of money to manage throughout someone’s life time. This disease can also be very difficult to diagnose because of the symptoms.
We are excited to be helping Kafi raise money for her Bike MS Ride this October. If you are interested in donating a portion of your purchase (at no cost to you), please make sure to check the box at checkout to do so. Thank you in advance for helping!
