While writing up the listing for our awesome Vallie Pearl Necklace, I started thinking about Valley Girl pearls. Are there such a thing? In the South, we have such a huge appreciation for pearls, I wonder if the same is true in California. We have a lot of customers and friends in California but most are transplants who read about us through their monthly dose of Southern Living.
Anyway, in all my wondering and musing I came across Nicholas Cage’s first movie, Valley Girl. Now, I haven’t seen the movie but it seems valley pearls do make an appearance in the Valley Girl movie! Once again reminding us that pearls are for everyone, even the “valley girls” of Southern California! Let’s hear it for Valley Girl Pearls!
About The Pearl Girls…
I don’t believe you will find a group of people more passionate about pearls than The Pearl Girls. We have collectively devoted years of our lives to studying pearls and being trained on how to craft high quality cultured pearl jewelry. We travel the globe personally sourcing our pearls and we create all of our jewelry and designs at our homebase in Athens, GA. We also have a huge reknot and repair department. People all over the world ship us their pearls to reknot or recreate into a new design. Along with our passion for pearls, we are passionate about creating jobs right here in our hometown of Athens, GA. We provide many perks to our staff including on-site childcare for our hardworking staff of mothers! Thank you for supporting us so we can continue supporting others. And thanks for sharing in our passion!
