“Southern girls can never have enough pearls,” said Jane Anne at yesterday’s talk with the Women of UGA. I cannot agree more. Jane Anne was one of the women I had the pleasure of connecting with after my presentation of Ten Things You Never Knew About Pearls. It was a great day with a fabulous lunch provided by the Five and Ten. (Can I just tell you…. they had a salad with watermelon, mozzarella cheese, jalapeño pepper jelly and dices jalapeños..it was fabulous!!!)
I had a great talk that was very interactive. I got to meet some amazing women from the Athens, GA area and I absolutely loved connecting with the winner of our Pearl Necklace Giveaway, Katherine Echols. She plans on wearing her new pearls on her upcoming wedding day. Which truly made us all happy that she was the winner!
